To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 終於帶媽咪嚟試下,對住個海景嘆住晚餐,佢好開心一路食一路笑,主打叫左d 海鮮同菜,埋單都只係每人大約$500/ head 亞參蜜汁美人魚沙律 啲魚仔炸得好香脆 ,沙律菜新鮮配上酸甜的亞參蜜汁,夏天食都幾開胃。野生姬松茸燉鮮鮑魚湯 整個湯有好濃嘅姬松茸菇香味帶一點甜。湯料豐富,粒鮑魚 仲幾大粒下,鮮濃暖胃。黑金蒜粉絲蒸蟶子皇蟶子已切成小塊,好易入口 ,黑金蒜粉絲香口味濃餸飯一流金絲麥香花竹蝦 手掌咁大嘅花竹蝦超厚肉,外層鋪滿酥脆嘅麥皮,份量十足 ,蝦肉彈牙入味櫻花蝦欖菜炒蒜芯苗呢碟BB 蒜心苗超級嫩,配搭上樱花蝦惹味到停唔到口 ,份量仲十足添 論環境同食物質素都係中上,特別係松茸鮑魚湯,我哋都一致大推,下次可以約埋親戚朋友嚟試其他菜式。'
