To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

滋味齋難得在元朗有間茶餐廳風格的齋店,除了一般中式齋菜,還有咖啡奶茶、三文治和即食麵等。午飯時行過好幾次,店內人頭湧湧,於是和少奶在下午茶時間來試試。下午茶的選擇很多,中西兼備,價錢也算合理。花多眼亂,和少奶考慮了一陣才決定先試兩味。蕃茄南瓜雲吞麵:賣相一流,橙橙紅紅的蕃茄和南瓜,加上白色的雲吞,睇見都想食。味道也很清淡,湯底沒有味精,蕃茄和南瓜很新鮮,雲吞的冬菇味也很香,只是生麵底煮得有點冧。菠蘿餐肉蛋炒飯:難得炒飯也能少油,除菠蘿外,還有粟米和翠玉瓜等雜菜,而且比例很多,吃下感覺很清甜爽口,齋餐肉也只是點綴,不減清淡的主調。今次試了的兩款清淡食物都很滿意,下次可以再試其他香口味濃的食品,看看可有新發現。餐牌上特別標明,可以要求少油少鹽,又可以選擇不要蛋。少少細節,足見這店照顧客人方面的細心。抵讚。
