To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 下星期去旅行,所以同屋企人提早黎呢度做冬。因為天氣咁岩剛始轉冷,所以我地一致決定食古法羊腩煲暖下身。羊腩煲份量大,而且有gas爐暖住,非常貼心。羊腩啖啖肉同好嫩滑,完全沒有膻味,而且炆得好入味。底下有大量枝竹,索晒所有精華,大完都爭住食。仲有配料如馬蹄,粉葛,冬菇,完全沒有偷工減料。配的腐乳料亦都調得剛剛好,同羊肉好夾。野山參青欖燉水鴨,見到d湯料已經知道絕冇偷工減料。原隻水鴨加上豬肉,飲落超清甜,有少少野山參的甘甜味。水鴨燉完的肉很嫩滑,可以就咁點鼓油食。芝麻皮的化皮乳豬的皮真係脆到好似食薯片咁,水準超高。乳豬肉質嫩滑,肥瘦適中,比平時飲宴食到的還要好食。呢間店已經第二次來,各款小菜都做得出色,份量又夠。而且服侍應會主動幫你舀湯,換骨碟等,服務值得稱讚。
