To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 灣仔有好多小店,旺記冰室係其中一間我想去食嘅!餐廳座位唔多,午飯時間去座無虛席~自家製叉燒日本滑蛋飯配旺記秘製甜豉油驟眼見到每枱都有人食呢個滑蛋飯,賣相望落的確幾吸引~食落第一口覺得d蛋真係好滑!!軟棉棉咁!!好正!而叉燒份量都唔少,斬到都幾大片㗎,肉質偏瘦,不過都幾腍唔算鞋!重點佢個秘製甜豉油真係好好味,甜度配得剛好,好出色,滑蛋、叉燒同甜豉油三樣野非常夾!回味無窮~~特濃蕃茄湯 午餐肉粒通粉蕃茄湯好濃郁,真係用蕃茄磨蓉,啖啖都食到蕃茄,超香!通粉份量適中,煮到剛好,保持到口感,唯一嘅配菜午餐肉幾有心思,切成粒狀,每粒都煎到好香脆,非常惹味!跟餐仲配有鮮牛油麥包多士,係麥包呀,健康啲!仲有份4.3牛奶炒日本滑蛋,一樣係好滑~~午餐仲附送飲品,兩個餐埋單只係$108!非常抵食,食物質素亦好高!推薦呀!

蕃茄湯好濃郁,真係用蕃茄磨蓉,啖啖都食到蕃茄,超香!通粉份量適中,煮到剛好,保持到口感,唯一嘅配菜午餐肉幾有心思,切成粒狀,每粒都煎到好香脆,非常惹味!跟餐仲配有鮮牛油麥包多士,係麥包呀,健康啲!仲有份4.3牛奶炒日本滑蛋,一樣係好滑~~
