To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

當天我在隔壁屯門湖山足球場練球，然後就有朋友推介說寶島餐廳的滑蛋鰻魚飯非常美味，甚至寫包單說如果不美味就他結帳。所以我們一行十人就在寶島餐廳要了十碗滑蛋鰻魚飯! 真的非常美味! 鰻魚絕對比得上高級日本餐廳的質素! 但價錢卻只是$56，平民價錢，高級美味!絕對值得推介。而且店舖位於海旁，沿路可以觀看美麗的風景。即使坐下了，亦能感受舒適的海風。還有不同的特飲，珍珠奶茶, 咸檸檬七喜...應有盡有。十人結帳也只是$600，每個人都只是$60。
