To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

下午五點光顧,食客不多,食咗蝦頭油蝦仁帶子炒飯,香口但油多,蝦仁帶子和雞蛋都太少,好似食白飯,跟住手機落單三色湯圓,已經選咗即上,等咗十分鐘,問一位女侍應,佢答我:甜品要顧客出聲才會上,再過十分鐘,問另一位男侍應,佢答我:應該整緊,湯圓要蒸...我心諗咁誇張,又過十分鐘,亦即係已經差不多三十分鐘,我再問另一位女侍應,她才真的入廚房追,另一位男侍應走過來對我說漏單,可否等三分鐘或取消,我取消埋單走人,仲衰過茶記,難怪港人北上消費。
