To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 同朋友食飯想坐得舒服,㨂咗去咗潮庭食潮州菜青瓜肉碎魚鰾- 用上湯浸煮,但可惜上湯味道唔夠濃,以至魚鰾吸收唔到魚湯嘅鮮甜,食落太淡口。青瓜都新鮮爽脆,食落有啖啖青瓜嘅清新味,唯魚湯味淡,未能進一步帶出青瓜嘅甜味咖啡骨- 醬汁本身好惹味,排骨煮得好淋,將醬汁完全吸收,食落軟淋,肉質都幾滑,唔錯魚方炒芥蘭- 炒得好乾身,無有多餘油份,火喉足夠,芥蘭炒得好香同爽嫩,正普寧鹽水炸豆腐- 潮庭其中一道名菜,皮脆肉嫩,豆腐外表香脆而不油膩,豆腐𥚃面保留了豆香味,食落口感非常好蛋白杏仁茶- 好滑,啖啖杏仁香味,唔太甜,但可惜食唔到蛋白揚揚整體指數:8:10揚揚環境指數:9/10揚揚味道指數:8/10揚揚服務指數:8/10揚揚抵食指數:8/10揚揚返食機會:8/10
