To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 跟同事到這兒吃午餐。我點了「九號」春卷小鍋米線($23)和西生菜($6)。有五大條魚肉餡的春卷,雲南小鍋米線配料超多,好味!灼西生菜麻麻地,問題出於D 菜本身質素惡劣,有發銹的菜腳。同事點了「三號」腩肉小鍋米線($23)和菜心($6)。滷豬腩肉都爽滑幾似樣。點菜心比西生菜好丁點兒而已…。春卷和腩肉果真是招牌貨,小鍋米線亦不賴,份量頗多,夠飽。唯湯汁超鹹超重味精和香料,累我的舌頭麻了一整個下午,災難。=============================================另:以下是小弟的不愉快經歷,不吐不快。下大雨的週一中午,本想到「超級三文治」拿拿臨咁求其食完野,之後跑去銀行辦事。但被一位同事拉去呢度!同事話:「速食店,半個鐘實食完,你仲有成九個字攪你D 銀行事務!」拍晒心口咁話好快食完,於是放棄去超快的「超級三文治」,步入呢間等到人儍的麵舖。店子巳經坐滿,真正水泄不通,沙丁魚般!於是兵分兩路,他去搵位,我去買票取食物:實行「裡應外合,殺個片甲不留」!話咁快,同事在五分鐘內巳經搵到兩個靚位,惜食物仍未ready。約五分鐘後,我碗春卷小鍋米線和油菜攪掂,於是我拿拿臨去取

以為同事那碗都應該好快攞得,於是我再跑出去櫃檯等,等呀等,再等多十分鐘都仲未叫領取,心感不妙。於是同櫃檯阿姐反映,阿姐答我無呢張票bor!不就是「漏單」,阿姐主動問我買咗什麼,即刻叫入面極速起份比我。結果,呢份只消三分鐘便ready!吹漲!
如果唔計漏單,十分鐘就有得食。但因為漏單,所以要多化十三分鐘,近五個字,浪費時間!!!
講真,我雖不太爽,但同事更唔好意思,他對我講咗至少五次「sorry」!唉,黑仔!結果只剩下廿分鐘到銀行辦事。
