To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 週末去旺角區食飯,真係要一早去食,否則真係有排等。所以我地6點15分左右就排隊等依間一直等到15分析就可以入座。佢同牛大人一樣,都係scan QR code點野食,我地叫左個士林放題餐,鴛鴦鍋。一上檯就主動黎左美國牛頸脊,睇個樣都好似唔差。之後又自動黎左六小碟拼盤,有滷大腸、滷牛肚、滷豆腐、麻辣雞翼尖、麻辣川耳、麻辣鴨血。當我老公食麻辣鴨血嘅時候,見到有隻小強(鴨血旁),真係乜胃口都冇。同侍應講,佢地都係同我地講聲抱歉,仲話拎過碟新嘅六小碟,我地話唔駛了。之後唔敢再食熟鴨血,只order生鴨血再去個鍋度浸熟佢。之後叫下打邊爐料同熟食啦,依個係鹽水雞,但味道好怪,雞肉好嚡,唔好食。鐵蛋算正常(好明顯係出面買包裝個D)我覺得全部最好食係王子麵黑糖芋圓,難食到一啖就放棄。真係冇乜心機影下D打邊爐料,所以淨係scan cap左有D咩食,總括黎講,野食種類少過牛大人,又唔好食,靚個D又要加錢食。為左記得自己下次唔好中伏都係紀錄一下。真金白銀俾錢,食到小強都冇向佢地R著數嫁。(眼淚在心里淌)出面自助種類都比較少選擇,同埋檯同檯之間都幾迫。出面拎野食左一忽,右一忽,唔集中,所以唔推薦。
