To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 雖然不過是屋村餐廳,但其實佢又做得比大家樂、大快活快餐認真,除左有卡位外,四人檯的凳有得捱,坐得也較舒服,寫稿寫得累,也懶得開爐時便會來這裡,今次叫了鐵板牛扒,是參考日式food court鐵板店,用紙圓套維著,然後客人DIY落汁,唔怕油彈到身,比起傳統餐巾的港式扒房經典動作,似乎日後要到「維京」抄料了。牛扒吃起來軟熟,是用蛋白而非鬆肉粉醃,吃起來還有薄薄的肉味,有誠意了,尤其知道隔離百佳一盒楓葉過牛扒100g賣$50,這裡煮埋都不過$60左右,我是收貨的,也比金鳳好吃。
