To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今回跟家人聚餐在尖沙咀的潮庭,這次我們被編排座近窗的地方,觀景幾好座椅舒適,不過可能是星期日的關係,這回的侍應禮貌無上一趟好;上菜時間後段,還有一點慢,要催促先可以上到菜.(其實後段都無爆場) 至於我們有11位家庭成員,便點了一個12人的晚餐.當中的八道菜中,以下是我個人的感想:- - 開胃的咸菜,買相和味道都唔錯- 潮式四喜大拼盤:鵝片-入味, 海蜇-幾爽脆, 花枝卷-普通(少脆), 豬腳涷-味香濃(我中意)- 鳳梨醬燒蝦球 - 肉爽和少甜的- 紅燒竹笙蟹玉翅 - 夠金華火腿味,唔太稀,翅針幼了點- 香煎原條大英鯧魚 - 不脆,但味道可以 (不是太大條)- 普寧豆醬焗雞 - 我見到個樣不喜歡,無食過 (有半隻以上無人食,應該味道麻麻)- 金華鴛鴦蔬 - 金華火腿味濃配蔬菜食好味- 潮洲黃金煎伊麵 - 味道可以,但12人的餐(只有8塊)都唔夠分- 反沙芋條 - 這個我喜歡 我自己不明白"圍餐"連水果&糖水都無,都不重要,最後結了近四千元的賬,先發現無飲過潮州的"功夫茶"包括Welcome Drink的"功夫茶" 希望美心集團能有更好的服務&更高的食物水準.
