To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 天氣凍有時難免偷懶一下,還是外出吃晚飯比較好,銀龍的煮家飯菜式一向不錯。這次比較肚子餓,不想等二十分鐘,就不點煲仔飯了。煲仔小菜- 薑蔥火腩煲熱辣辣,而且份量不少,火腩都是豬腩仔部位,沒有搭瘦肉或肥豬肉,味道不錯,很下飯。咸魚煎肉餅 - 肉餅有咸魚香,煎得內脆內軟,份量不少,推介魚香茄子-這個菜式沒有煲仔上有點可惜,天氣凍,感覺上如果用煲仔上會較好,茄子保持紫色,味道好,咸淡得宜,送飯一流。櫻花蝦上湯浸芥蘭- 芥蘭時令,十分清甜,芥蘭煮得很冧,沒有渣。
