To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 基本上每個月總有一次外出吃牛涮鍋，火鍋而言，個人認為性價比算高，材料新鮮，味道不錯，既然是任食任飲，絕對可以吃飽飽才走。一般而言，我和朋友都是點丹麥豬配雞肉套餐，個人認為豬肉質素不錯，又薄又快熟，有肉味。而蔬菜很新鮮，有不少款式供選擇，不同店供料會有所不同。丸類有芝士魚餅、芋頭丸等，種類不少，口味彈牙。而醬料也有不少選擇，可以隨意混醬。雪糕除了一般的牛奶味，偶然會有其他口味，可以自己配朱古力醬等，自制美味甜品。
