To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一想食燒肉,就會諗起牛角,因為價錢合理,服務又好,所以我成日幫襯宵夜黎食,指定餐牌有半價,有啲係7折,最好既係有得加$28飲啤酒放題!有得揀Asahi或者Sapporo!超正囉!開心!之後叫左燒肉拼盤,有厚切牛舌,豬腩肉,雞脾肉,本菇,金菇,燒宵黎講都夠食!啲本菇同金菇都超好食,落左牛油去燒,燒到啲菇吸晒啲牛油,好香好好味!雖然好肥,但絕對要食!個燒肉拼盤包左兩杯飲品,我揀左牛角特飲,飲完牛角特飲再飲啤酒,今晚飲左好多野另外我都好鍾意牛角既鹽醬,牛角鹽醬配埋燒肉係最夾!我之前去日本旅行都特登去supermarket買左枝返香港,有時係屋企煎牛我都會用。因為真係好好味,落左鹽醬,煎牛排就唔使落鹽喇。提一提,宵夜時段都多人食,要預返等位時間。
