To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

一直聽很多食友談及會展裡的自助餐有多麼出色,是天適逢牛祭終於到來一試,果然不負眾望,食物選擇多之餘,水準也不俗,一點也不馬虎呢!說明是牛祭,當然有不少來自世界各國的牛菜式,亞洲代表包括輕烙日本和牛、灸燒日本和牛肉手握壽司、牛丼、韓式柚子燒燒牛舌、印度咖哩牛腩,當然少不了廣東滷水牛𦟌、牛肚,以及小炒馬拉盞草飼牛肉。另外還有趣緻的紐西蘭牛肉雞蛋仔,不過這個也個也不過是gimmick,玩味濃也蛋太多了,不夠脆,試試就好。牛肉慶典,怎少了燒牛肉呢。是日的燒美國牛肩肉、澳洲和牛牛腹肉,兩者和有特色,個人較喜歡前者,肉質鬆軟,牛味較濃也帶適量油脂,非常好吃。席前燒M7和牛片則有少被燒過熟,加上澳洲牛始終牛味略遜,只屬一般。除此之外,歐美的牛代表包括巴西牛尾沙拉、炸英式牛肉包、米蘭燴牛膝等,海鮮也是不可能錯過的一環。海鮮種類確不少,即開生蠔、麵包蟹、長腳蟹、青口、鮑魚、翡翠螺,自製海鮮拼盤無難道。這裡的必食菜,當然要數片皮鴨、鵝肝和炸D24榴連吧!片皮鴨肉質軟綿,油香豐富,皮脆肉嫩,果然超水準;鵝肝夠厚身,熟度剛好使其入口溶化,不過還時小吃多滋味;個人不怎好榴連,但這炸榴連的香滑濃郁,也不油膩,淺嚐

這裡的甜點選擇也十分多,不過真的太飽了,簡單吃杯Chocolate Chip Mövenpick 作結便好。

薈景的自助餐食物水準真的滿多,而且環境寬敞,很適合一家大細到訪呢。
