To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 飲食業經營困難,在大商場生存更困難。由上菜開始,十五分鐘就上了6道菜。 我只感覺到叫我地食快d,拿拿聲食晒就可交番枱做第二轉為左省d位, 侍應話將片皮鴨d麵皮放細碟,我都同意既,你上菜咁快,多多位其都唔夠擺。 但轉頭話就咁擺落d片皮鴨隻碟度, 大佬呀! d油多到咁,你唔係認真架? 好在喝住佢,如果唔係就變左油浸啦。好高速上到成台都係之後,條魚又好快到啦,我地都話真係冇位擺,佢話咁條魚洗唔洗擺埋一邊先,但凍左好易腥喎。心裡不禁想講粗口,我地d餸都係開始食緊。張台又唔係大,條魚快到咁就整埋出黎,而家我仲要幫你諗埋擺邊呀?我都明白生意難做,一晚做兩轉客先得。 不過如果想d客剩係食完就走既,我諗就冇下次啦。自己醫肚就唔洗係美心皇宮食,一圍枱要搞壽宴都唔會係一個要自己短時間內食晒d野既地方食啦。真係 冇 下 次!
