Long time no Indonesian food. Our last Indonesian meal was about half a year ago! This place immediately came to our mind when we thought of somewhere Indonesian to go, given its convenient location, nice food quality and reasonable price. It was very busy even for Wed dinner. It was full house but luckily we managed to get our table on time as we had made a reservation in advance. The menu had a lot of choices which took us quite a while to make up our minds. They had main courses, rice, noodles
The menu had a lot of choices which took us quite a while to make up our minds. They had main courses, rice, noodles, snacks, vegetables, satay, fish maw soup with noodles, and desserts. Each type had many different choices. There was no service charge.
We came here for dinner and ordered 2 mains, 1 snack and 2 drinks to share.

虎蝦花膠湯粉皮$98
There were three tiger prawns which were quite big and fresh and meaty. They were grilled so well that the shell was crispy and was edible! There were two pieces of fish maws, one bigger and one smaller. The 粉皮 was basically cheung fun and was super smooth! The soup was quite clear. We finished all soup. Healthy and yummy bowl!

Although you might find the price of $148 not cheap, the portion was so giant. The rice was very special. The portion of the rice was big with a lot of small squids which had been salted and were pretty tender. The squids themselves might be a bit salty eaten on their own. But they went great with the rice. The rice was super rich in coconut and was quite spicy. Other ingredients in the rice included some small long fish, 臭豆 and spices like lemon grass. Normally I avoided eating rice but this time I really couldn't help eating because it was so tasty. The meat for the dish was quite a big deep-fried chicken leg. The skin was super crispy and the chicken meat was pretty tender. Yummy! There were also a piece of big deep-fried bean curd and peas cake. They were freshly made. Some salads included the super fresh lettuces, tomato, and 3 slices of cucumbers. The accompanying spicy sauce on the side was super super spicy.

虎蝦沙嗲$88
The snack we ordered was 虎蝦沙嗲. The three grilled tiger prawns smelt and tasted super good of charcoal grill. The shells were again crispy and edible, and were slightly sweet. The accompanying sauce was a bit sweet and spicy and was super tasty.

牛油果沙冰 (必食推介)$48
牛油果沙冰 was giant with loads of avocado smoothie! There was some chocolate sauce added on top but definitely just appropriate. It was just like eating avocado ice cream! Highly recommended indeed. Great to wash down the spicy food.

梛汁冰$48
It was super giant. It had tons of coconut ice which tasted really good. The coconut milk was tasty and smooth and the ice was not sweet at all yet had rich flavour of coconut. You might find the prices of the drinks not cheap. But they were quite justified by the portion and quality and saved you money from ordering desserts!

班蘭梛糖千層糕,班蘭千層糕
Service was very nice as the boss, who was actually very young, was very friendly and talkative and was so kind to introduce the menu to us. He even offered to treat us two pieces of layered cakes. So nice of him.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our dinner, including the quality of the food and drinks as well as service. Prices were also quite reasonable, especially in CWB district.
