To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 點解D食評寫得咁差,再睇睇日子,原來已經係很久之前的事la,唔通之前真係咁差,而家做左有線電視節目就改進左?其實我去過這間酒家飲茶冇10次都有8次,佢D點心真係唔係咁差wor,昨晚因為有優惠券所以去試佢個鮑魚魚翅餐,原價$588 而家做推廣價$288,我有優惠券所以每位$218,餐前佢仲送左柸檸檬汁,套餐有:高湯黑松露燴翅.......高湯味道唔錯,上面有D黑松露菌碎,食唔到有乜味,小小蚧肉, 小小花膠,花膠夠淋,最差就係D翅,食到翅骨,勝在夠熱. 蠔皇鮑魚伴玉掌.......鮑魚係用鮮鮑來炆的,炆得未夠淋,玉掌就夠淋,最好就是個蠔皇汁. 築地蒲燒鰻魚..........燒得唔錯,外脆內嫩 頭抽煎大虎蝦...........正,蝦肉爽口彈牙,頭抽(野)味 蟲草花泡翡翠...........翡翠係芥蘭苗,有D唐芹,味道唔錯. 瑞士釀凰翼..............正,裏面釀左
