香港雖為華洋共匯之地,但鮮有百年老店的西餐食肆,太平館應該唯一一間。創立於清朝在廣州地區,後遷往香港,繼續發光發熱,深受大家喜愛。如果以港式西餐廳來比較,太平館的價格偏高,但一分錢 一分貨,除了食品外,館內裝修也是有所講究,有英式風格。過往也是名人消費場所,不少報章雜誌也有介紹。可以考慮點套餐,比較划算瑞士汁炒牛河、燒豬脾、瑞士雞翼,其味道也是一樣,因為同一個瑞士汁。燒乳鴿拌碟的汁醬,也是同一個瑞士汁。疏乎里是他們的招牌名菜之一,小朋友見到非常開心,雖然看起來很巨型,但完全不飽肚,所以不用擔心吃不下。百年老店,值得支持
