To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 12月30日姐姐個仔係呢度攞百日宴,兩圍,我地好早到左,咁等齊人都等左好耐,仕應有倒茶給我們,我們要求她放下整壺茶,她好像聽不到的,差唔多9點先齊人,先上紅雞蛋,是用紅色的玻璃紙包著雞蛋的,又等左幾耐先嚟醬,又等左好耐先上第一碟餸,乳豬拼盤,有雞,鵝,乳豬,叉燒,薰蹄,海折,全部都幾好味,乳豬較肥,叉燒最好味,好多肉汁及香口.之後是珊瑚玤西芹都幾好味,都幾大碟多料,之後的炸芋蓉帶子盒味道好怪,入面有種像尿味的味道,不知怎形容,可能芋頭配帶子是不夾的吧.蒸魚都好滑都好味呀,花膠鵝掌生菜,花膠有d"色"味,鵝掌好大隻都ok.炸子雞好肥及冇味的,一定要配豉油食先有味.紅豆沙有d像果皮但又不知是否真係果皮的東西,味道怪怪地.合桃酥及桂花糕,合桃酥是用椰絲做的,不好食,桂花糕都幾好味.最後是柑冇食不知道,但他們說很甜.服務方面,那個仕應不知是否新來的,好唔掂,叫佢俾茶壺我地又唔俾,成日好似係度發夢咁,做野勁慢.有人見到佢常係廁所講電話,原來佢仲要係主管級數,後來可能有高級的部長見佢太慢,都忍唔住入嚟幫手.唔會有下次囉!
