To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今天又跟朋友來吃晚餐一開始他們們會給一盤前菜,有泡菜和豆芽。我覺得泡菜吃起來是不錯,不過是偏向酸的,愛吃辣的可能嫌不夠辣。但對不太吃辣的人來說是剛好。至於芽菜因為我沒多吃,我就不多評,我覺得還好。個人還是比較喜歡吃泡菜。而且吃完覺得好吃的話可以問服務員再拿,好像是免費任拿的。今次我跟點的是牛肋骨。牛肋骨湯有送飯的,送上湯時還在滾,也冒著煙,熱熱的,正。湯的味道十分濃,放進口裏滿滿都是牛肋骨味。我和朋友一邊吃一邊大讚。淋上飯吃又是另外一番風味,美味的湯汁配上軟軟的飯,吃進口裏真的不錯。湯的配料也很多,牛肋骨不只是骨,也有肉,而且還滿多的,而且肉味濃,軟軟的很好吃。白蘿蔔切的十分薄,吃起來不但軟軟易入口的,還吸收了湯的精華,一咬下去,湯的味道全都跑出來,好吃!另外湯裏還有粉絲,吃完保證飽飽的。而朋友點的是咖哩拉麵,名子大概是這樣。總知就是用咖哩煮拉麵,亦即是香港人的公仔麵。這個很有趣的,吃起來咖哩味道很香濃,你一吃就知道是咖哩來的。但完全沒有咖哩的辣味,真的很神奇!這點我是讚的,因為咖哩味道是有的,還滿濃的。服務員的態度也是我讚賞的地方之一,因為我不能吃菇的,但又想吃湯飯。便問他們那一個沒

服務員的態度也是我讚賞的地方之一,因為我不能吃菇的,但又想吃湯飯。便問他們那一個沒菇,他們真的好認真的想,在他們討論時我還聽見他們說「金菇也是菇來的。」,就知道他們真的有認真幫我想。而且他們也有補充可以走菇的,我就很放心的叫了他們推薦,沒菇的牛肋骨湯了。

不過桌子比較少,我跟我朋友坐二人桌,食物送上來剛好有位置放到,要是我們另外點小食的話,就很難放,總是桌上放了食物以後就有一種迫迫的感覺吧。
