To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

永合隆對於我嚟講唔算係老字號,因為我出世嘅時候都未有佢!後嚟幾歲大先睇住佢開張。不過隨住自己年紀增加,“唔算”老字號都變成老字號了!永合隆係少數一開張已經要排隊買燒肉嘅旺舖,我細個嘅時候喺深水埗,買义燒就去西湖(荔枝角道/北河街),買燒肉就去永合隆。難得永合隆四十多年都保持舊貌,多年幫襯感覺依然。雖然燒肉最出名,我自己反而最愛叫雞什飯,可惜佢話依家都冇新鮮雞何來雞什,噢!可惜呀~唯有嗌番燒肉飯。另外一樣出名嘅係佢嘅幾十年不變例湯 —— 菜乾豬肺湯,D料多到滿瀉,真係就咁叫多個白飯都可以當一餐。埋單一飯一湯收成六十,梗係算貴啦,但其實佢不嬲都貴,已貴足四十幾年,真係“嫌貴就唔好幫襯吖笨”!講開燒肉,細個嗰陣爺爺(外公)會帶我哋一家坐船去梅窩游水,嗰度榕樹底有檔D燒肉係一生人食過最好食嘅燒肉,每次阿爸都會買燒肉同豬耳過對面飯店坐低食。後嚟深水埗碼頭由通州街搬到冇雷公咁遠,就再少有去梅窩食燒肉。三、四十年前聽人講檔燒肉搬咗上市政街市,請問有冇人知檔嘢仲存在否?
