To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日同事突然請我去食牛角我哋三個人12:30等左大約半個鐘先有位同事話佢係會員,今個月有送一盤四人份嘅食物但係前提要叫夠$400先可以送溫馨提示✨牛角已經用電話QRCODE落單好耐我哋叫咗最貴嘅燒肉套餐價值$128 🥩最貴嘅燒肉套餐可以任揀套餐內五款燒物另外我加$10要咗普通份量既牛角飯、加$2要薑味汽水同事就另外再加兩個雪糕終於湊夠$400 ,於是送咗一盤四人份嘅食物落完單後,服務員好快送上餐前小食泡菜同海帶湯不過啲嘢食要啲時間先送到,而且份量亦都唔係想像咁多,有埋送嘅四人份食物先夠大家食牛角嘅牛🥩帶點雪花,入口即溶可惜海蝦唔新鮮、冇咩蝦嘅鮮甜帶子好細隻,建議都係食肉類比較穩陣我覺得加$10牛角飯係必須嘅,珍珠米配合紫菜豉油十分開胃👍🏻食完埋單會有服務員送上糖果
