To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. 冇咗晚市堂食，佢哋做優惠，六點前都係午市套餐。A餐嘅話第二位半價。我哋三個人去食， +1之後每人$222。安格斯牛頸脊放題。都有得食豬肉同埋雞肉。雖然都係一個比較平嘅餐，但係唔覺得啲牛肉特別難食。反而覺得幾好添。用電話掃QR code落單。啲嘢都好快上。今日雪糕機嘅口味係8.0牛乳同埋芝麻。我四點左右入座，但係牛乳雪糕已經冇晒啦。不過餐廳職員好好，佢見到我想食雪糕，但雪糕機啲雪糕冇晒。我都冇問佢，佢後尾自動攞咗幾杯雲呢拿雪糕俾我。自助吧啲嘢都係嗰啲嘢啦。冇咩特別。飲品就係汽水機嚟嘅。甜品櫃啲甜品冇咩特別。冇咩興趣食。
