To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

本人在星期日下午1時左右和父母一起到上址吃午飯,拿了等候票在門外等候。過了很久,還聽不見有空更新,門外拿等候票的客人不斷增加(30人以上),但奇怪地有些剛到步的人沒有拿等候票便入了酒家內,其間本人發現已結賬的食客一群一群地從酒家出來,到底空出的子在那裹?於是本人入內一看,發現有20-30人站在酒家內等候空,大部分剛結賬的空都給這些站的熟客所填滿,站的熟客不斷增加,導致門外從正常排隊輪候的食客需要輪候1至2小時以上。本人不禁會問,是否熟客就不用排隊,守規的客人就要等候數小時!這種非常不公平的現象,確實不能接受,希望各食客不要到上址用膳,以示反對這種不公平的行為的發生!再者上址的食物價錢普遍比同區其他的酒家高!
