To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 😃今日中午,終於同同事去食旺記冰室。因為旺記每闈都好旺場。勁多人排隊食旺角,所以好多次都放棄咗。.所以今日,揀咗一點半鐘去食。雖然都要排隊,但無十二點半食咁多人排。👍🏻.講下個環境先,旺記都比較窄,舖面唔太大,位置都唔係超多。但茶記嚟講,四周環境都好整潔,坐得都叫舒服😌。.🤤因爲第一次食,叫咗佢嘅招牌,日本滑蛋叉燒蝦仁🍤雙拼飯$58(配旺記秘製甜豉油)加一杯熱杏但霜。而同事就叫咗鮮薑汁豬膶鮮雞湯通粉,$46(配鮮牛油麥包厚多士,4.3牛奶炒日本雞蛋🥚)加一杯熱奶茶☕️。.🌝唔講同事果個,只講自己嘅滑蛋叉燒蝦仁飯。首先,個飯嘅份量好多而且好大。而佢嘅蝦仁🍤真係好脆口。而啲叉燒好入味,甜甜地,好在佢嘅叉燒係瘦叉,無太多難入口嘅肥肉😂👌。而叉燒切得好薄,所以望落去會感覺好多。而滑蛋呢,雖然無我想像中咁滑,容易滑落喉嚨。不過好有蛋味,配上佢嘅秘製甜豉油,令滑蛋更加入味。另外,杯杏仁霜都幾濃👍🏻。.只能說,成個午餐用料好足同好飽。
