To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 與三位友人食飯,本身想試大都烤鴨但訂唔到位,朋友話北京樓卜到所以就黎左呢到對上一次食北京樓已經係十幾年前既金鐘分店,仲記得當時北京樓係高檔野黎架!今日在場所見似乎遊客比較多。星光行既北京樓鋪位非常大,有的舊但待應都充足勤快。但今次既經歷就唔多愉快先講野食 海蜇頭有汁另上,開頭試左一舊冇汁,係冇味既,點知點左汁都係冇味墊底既青瓜就幾爽脆 京蔥牛肉,蔥好多但牛份量相對較少,兼且個底有油浸,的牛肉幾稔既,出奇地的蔥幾好食 北京填鴨即場片,片出黎都有兩大碟,鴨方面就不過不失,佢勝在隻鴨唔肥,但就唔夠香,皮都唔夠脆 敗筆係的皮,好多時出面食肆都以蒸籠上,熱辣辣又軟熟,但呢到上碟時已經凍左,唔知係本身冇蒸熱定已經凍左,所以塊皮唔軟 小籠包又係失敗,我應該未食過皮咁厚既小籠包個餡就正正常常就係等待甜品之際,友人突然驚呆咁望住廚房個邊,原來佢見到有老鼠由廚房跑左出黎經理聽到我地大叫有老鼠都問我地係邊,隻老鼠隨即又跑返入廚房!我地已經嚇死,接受唔到食肆見到老鼠! 甜品食左拔絲蘋果,講真嚇到食咩都冇味啦先唔講食物質素如何,食肆有老鼠已經係不可接受
