To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

「翠玉軒」今年已是第五年摘得米芝蓮一星,它亦是我在中環甚喜歡的中式食肆,既然它剛剛又入圍了2013年度的米芝蓮一星,那就一次過叫齊過往幾年的推介菜來賀一賀佢啦。2010年推介 -「瑤柱豆腐菜蓉羹」$48菜蓉是菠菜,磨至糜爛,我很愛它湯底有很鮮的瑤柱香,絕對是好吃的因素,因為豆腐與菠菜都是淡口之物,瑤柱將整碗湯羮的味道提鮮了。2010年推介 -「柑橘脆蝦球」$168我覺得它取勝在醬汁的運用。原隻鮮蝦,炸後也比一隻鐵匙羹大!外層香脆包著蝦的爽口,掛上酸酸甜甜的柑橘醬,令油膩度減低,道理就如「咕嚕肉」一樣,但柑橘醬就令人更有新鮮感及高貴的感覺。2009年推介 -「蠔汁百靈菰扒翡翠」$88百靈菰片造型有點似鮑片,其實口感也有點像。用蠔汁扣過後放在清炒翡翠苗上,是個濃、淡、爽、滑的奇妙組合,好吃的。2009年推介 -「皇室貴族牛柳」$168即乾煎牛柳。不知何解,在牛柳上放了數個由細至大的洋葱圈,造型甚怪,牛柳屬薄切,就這樣乾煎,肉嫩及頗多肉汁,也吃得過,可是我仍是頗介意那數個不脆的洋蔥圈,煞風景。整體來說四道推介菜是挺吃得過,而且價錢也屬合理範圍,服務也殷勤。一星,抵你攞!
