To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 一到冬季,梗係諗起要食羊腩煲喇,食完個人暖粒粒好正㗎!行過呢度見到原來而家羊腩煲有特價,晚飯任何消費加幾十蚊就有得食,咁抵梗係要試吓!呢款砂鍋羊腩煲細細煲,啱晒我哋二人小家庭,不過唔好睇佢細細煲,原來都有唔少羊肉,仲有我最鍾意食嘅骨位同埋大塊羊皮。羊肉半肥瘦,都炆得好淋,而皮位食落好q彈,仲有好多枝竹同埋冬菇,點腐乳食勁正!呢到啲京式片皮鴨都好值得食,即叫即片,而且師傅技術唔錯,片到夠晒薄,大大塊皮少少肉,所以食起來特別香酥,呢種就最好食㗎啦!那陣陣鴨油滲透舌尖,夾少少青瓜蔥絲又可以提升爽脆感。補身達唔少得飲埋金銀菜燉白肺湯,白肺好難自己喺屋企煲,出嚟酒樓飲就慳水慳力啦。仲用咗咁多金銀菜同埋瘦肉雞去煲,夠晒下火,夠晒清甜,睇到咁多湯渣就知道好足料啦!
