星期日去完淺水灣,搭車出返去市區,之前沒有預訂任何餐廳,正在擔心去邊度開餐。估計星期日的灣仔一帶應該不會有太多食客,肯定好過銅鑼灣,決定去灣仔揾食。再一次利用 openrice 搜尋器,啟動之前一定要先問問我家小公主到底想吃什麼,她不停喊著:「肉!肉!」。指示已經非常清晰,要食日式燒肉或韓國烤肉;如果要食西餐鋸排,她會喊著「薯條」。 在 openrice 的搜尋結果,灣仔的日式燒肉或串燒店只得數間選擇,其中【黑炙】曾經幫襯,當然想找間新餐廳試試。最近我們落巴士地方的就是【葫同】了。【葫同】位於皇后大道東靠近金鐘的其中一條小斜巷上,位置雖然不至於偏僻,但並不就腳。附近也就是近十年八載的其中一個新興、但又較上環 soho 區或西營盤高街低調的飲食蒲點星街。在星期六日的非上班日子,這一帶不會有太多客人,主要依靠熟客。反之,周一至周五的客人應該會較多,因為鄰近金鐘 Pacific Place 的幾幢甲級商業大廈。餐廳佔據了一棟樓高三層,樓齡估計超過50年、甚至超過六十年的唐樓。地下門口的設計採用了木門,並且打造得很有中國古代建築的氣氛。如果真的要形容,我會把它定性為一間港產武俠電影內所塑造的明
有别於銅鑼灣或尖沙咀的高級日式燒肉店,【葫同】並沒有以日本和牛為主打,每碟燒肉的價錢並不算特別貴,地區因素也可能有點關係。保留了傳統日式燒肉的特色,大部份食材都是用最簡單的胡椒、蔥花、海鹽等天然調味料,並且份量減至最少,保證吃的是「肉的原味」,而不是吃「調味料」。這也是筆者鍾情日式燒肉多於韓式燒烤的重大原因。
