To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 今日入屯門約朋友飲茶,每次飲茶必去佢嘅飯堂~八月花,一坐低急不及待點了幾個點心!叫了碟蔥油菠蘿海蜇頭~師傅簡單調味再加上麻油撈勻醃製,入晒味超香,兼且爽脆無比,好正😋沙拉煎墨魚餅~加入少許馬蹄粒,打至起膠,食落除咗有少許爽口亦都非常之彈牙,配上一小碟沙拉醬,可隨自己口味點上,好味到食完一件再想食一件。叉燒腸粉~簿簿的腸粉皮,爽滑得來帶少許煙韌,包住大大片叉燒,實在滿足!冬菇雞肉餃子~雞肉、冬菇加咗爽脆木耳,成只餃子口感層次豐富,淋上少許甜醋同吃,好正👍柚皮蒸鳳爪~鳳爪同柚皮都吸收咗秘製醬汁非常之入味!壓軸出場海鮮炒貴刁~食咗一半先記得影相,下次嚟一定要再encore,蝦同帶子都各有四隻,大蝦超大隻而且非常之爽口彈牙,帶子就很鮮甜,加入雞蛋、芽菜、韭菜、豉油炒至乾身,完全沒有油膩感,極速清碟😋叉燒包~外皮鬆軟咬落有爆漿的感覺,超多汁同叉燒,只可惜一籠得兩隻,唔夠分唯有一人一半分享!香煎素腐皮卷~雖然外皮非常香脆,略嫌餡料比較油膩,一般般。
