To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 近年屋企人愛上假日嚟呢度飲茶, 貪佢近屋企方便就腳,而且自從可以用手機App攞籌之後,等候嘅時間易掌握得多,唔使等到傻😅。我地鍾意嚟呢度飲茶嘅原因係呢間仍然源用推家仔點心,可以邊食邊選擇, 鍾意食乜就叫乜, 唔使一次過決定,又唔使等。有次有個貌似大廚嘅人物走出嚟跟茶客聊天, 佢同我地講廚房有十幾個點心師傅,所以佢地嘅點心好新鮮同比較精緻。咁多款點心我最鍾意就係佢地嘅煎堆, 真係即炸出嚟,個個圓碌碌漲卜卜😍😋其次就係沙翁喇, 呢兩款點心都係限量供應,差唔多一出就冇哂,絕對係手快有手慢架😉蒸點心我就鍾意糯米包同大蝦燒賣細佬就最鍾意食車仔檔野,所以牛雜同飽汁鳳爪就啱哂佢喇。細家姐同媽咪最愛煎炸野,每次必點芋角同炸雲吞。如果食完都未飽,大可以加個荷葉飯或蒸飯架最後仲可以食埋甜品先走, 佢地嘅雙皮奶都好唔錯,但又係成日冇嘅,可遇不可求!上茶樓飲茶食點心始終係香港人嘅習慣,特別係同屋企人,得閒飲茶食點心之外,仲可以傾下計,增進下感情架👍
