To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 酒樓名比較特別,到埋單後先知原來係美x集團旗下。當日係星期五,以海港城環境黎講係一定好,望碼頭景,但真係十分靜,全場不過10枱客。食物質素相信係集團既中上,當然價錢都係相對。7個人全散叫,有主打片皮鴨,沙薑豬手,椒鹽鮮魷,鎮江骨,炸魚皮,乳豬,露荀蝦仁,炒飯,蠔餅等。當中食物整體唔差,除左個個所謂既蠔餅,製作方法簡直浪費,炸到成舊石頭,硬到插唔入,最後無乜人食,晒曬!其他食物如鴨,豬都屬中上味道。最後叫左3個楊枝甘露,埋單$33xx。埋單前有問職員有冇優惠或信用卡優惠,佢話無,只得yuu儲分,當刻先知道係集團。重點係,我哋埋好單出門後,發現門外張貼優惠話堂食散座88折,明明埋單前問職員話無優惠,結果我哋返去問櫃檯,佢話係喎,好在未埋數收機,我哋話埋單前有問職員有冇優惠架喎。雖然市道唔好,但手法相當低等。後來發現原來openrice都有另一食評反映佢唔老實,唔正視問題,只會搞死自己!
