To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

踏入12月香港各地也瀰漫著聖誕氣氛，今年中港城中港碼頭上蓋舉辦了「聖誕車尾箱環保市集」，不但集結了售賣文創的產品、手工藝品、美食以至遊戲攤檔，更有現場音樂表演，令今個假期節目更加精彩。看完市集，最方便當然是到附近的皇家太平洋酒店晚膳，所以我們一早已預定了座位，順便一齊慶祝聖誕節！酒店大堂及餐廳內，已佈置得美輪美奐，很有聖誕氣氛；最特別是這個環保聖誕樹，採用多款棄置的物品砌成，非常環保又有意義。這個半自助餐非常超值，不但有任食沙律菜、冷盤、忌廉湯、甜品、生果及熱飲外，還可在六款主菜中任選一款；主菜包括：辣番茄醬白菌長通粉、海南雞飯、香煎海鱸魚配番茄忌廉汁、和風照燒魷魚魬配前菜及味噌湯、慢煮火雞配煙肉小椰菜.臘味糯米飯.焦糖栗子.火雞汁 及 燒牛扒配田園蔬菜（另加港幣$60）。我吃了大大一碟沙律菜、忌廉湯、香煎海鱸魚、生果、甜品及紅茶；朋友就各有喜好，最多人選擇了燒牛扒，據說都幾有水準。食物幾好，現在經網上預訂更可享 9 折優惠，折扣後就更加超值了；推廣期由16-10-2023 至 31-01-2024。12 月 24 至 26、30 至 31 日及 1 月 1 日的半自助午餐及晚餐，每位
