To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 第一次係香港食日式燒肉,就試下牛角啦。平時行街見到牛角d分店間間都好多人等位,所以次次都無去食。今日係九龍灣德福廣場二期行街見到有牛角,6點幾都已經好多人係牛角門口等位啦!今次就的起心肝去試下啦,拎完飛就去行下德褔,一個鐘頭左右就叫有位啦。(我諗我地拎飛果時放左一批人入去,所以要等一段時間等佢地走先有位俾我地入去)呢度每張檯都有部平板俾我地電子落單。我地叫左個唔係最貴嘅燒肉set, 泡菜豬腩肉,厚切牛舌,牛油金菇,一個石鍋飯。雖然我地叫唔係最貴嘅燒肉set (有雞、牛、豬),但d牛肉燒完都好juicy, 鎖住晒d肉汁,真係十分推薦! 泡菜豬腩肉同牛油金菇就係分別用錫紙盤上菜,可以直接放上去個鐵絲網燒,好方便。燒完d金菇,仲可以繼續用個錫紙盤繼續燒,容易d控制肉嘅生熟度。呢間分店環境唔錯,檯與檯之間有塊板相隔,有自己嘅私隱度。侍應都好好服務,會自動添水。如果鐵絲網需要更換,都可以要求侍應幫手更換(免費的)。付款後,侍應俾幾粒糖俾我地清下口氣。
