七月第三個星期四晚上,蘇豪。跟朋友經常吃中西日菜吃多了,在網上找找其他國家的菜嚐嚐,就決定吃這家尼泊爾菜。門口看到原來餐廳從1995年已經開業,而且還是蘇豪區第一家餐廳,是老字號呢,也有很多獎狀。裡面很多尼泊爾的裝飾,連桌面也是圖騰,充滿異國風情,燈光也很浪漫。前菜是薄脆片,上面有紅蘿蔔,洋蔥跟香草,脆片鹹鹹的,可以沾旁邊的紅辣醬或是綠色的薄荷微辣醬,我們都偏愛紅辣醬,味道較濃能提味。我們各點一瓶尼泊爾莫斯坦啤酒,莫斯坦處於海拔2500米以上,這啤酒據說是從珠穆朗瑪峰超過5500米,沒有人居住的山泉水釀製,入口非常清新,也有麥芽味不會太淡口。什錦菜咖哩角,外皮酥脆厚實,裡面塞了滿滿的料,有馬鈴薯,腰果跟綠豆,配合酸酸的羅望子醬跟咖哩輕微辣度,惹味開胃不油膩。皇室什菜,所有蔬菜都是採用新鮮的農場蔬菜,裡面還有自家製的茅屋起司,以皇家肉汁煮成,味道不太濃,可以吃到蔬菜跟起司的原味。什菜藏紅花炒飯是當地的主食,藏紅花為全世界最昂貴的香料,有幫助消化和各種醫學用途。長身米飯煮得粒粒分明,原來是以尼泊爾傳統銅製的器皿烹煮,鎖汁力特強,而且加入了8種香料,難怪充滿香氣。起司南餅,即Naan,是一種

烤雞胸以藏紅花,腰果醬及尼泊爾香料醃過,以烤雞胸來說,雞肉雖不到很嫩滑,但是軟度剛剛好,一點不硬,而且不用咀嚼很久,味道又濃香惹味,這道菜是很合格。

在餐廳舒適的氛圍,服務生的友善態度下,我們渡過了一個輕鬆的晚上。
