To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 每次去潮州菜館吃飯,一定喜愛點一窩「蠔仔粥」,今次靚嘗美心集團旗下的潮江春,這間潮江春相信很多人也知道,在港九亦均有多間分店,蠔仔粥是潮州美食之中的最傳統及最知名的菜餚之一,怎可能不品嚐呢?侍應端上「蠔仔粥」的時候,器具是精美的窩,我們滿有期待。打開一看,熱騰騰的蒸氣散出,洋溢著清香的味道。每粒蠔仔飽滿,湯飯加入香芹、冬菇、冬菜及肉碎,提升湯的鮮味,湯味鮮甜及惹味,真係令人一試難忘 。蠔仔能夠帶出粥豐富的海鮮味道和獨特的口感。我們試完之後十分喜歡的呢。「滷水鵝片」鵝肉嫩滑,滷水入味不會過濃,果真有水準。底是一貫的滷水豆腐,豆腐反而夠入味。整體份量鵝肉足夠,每人只分到四片,十分滿足。
