Pandan egg tart and Pineapple bun

A local cha chan teng in Shatin (Shek Mun), bakery are fresh out from the oven every 15-20 minutes. Just adjacent to the storefront is their in-house bakery and you can get the takeaway order right away.

Lucky to have the very last batch egg tart of the day at around 3:30pm. The green coloured egg tart catch my eyes and is definitely very photogenic, it is actually a pandan flavour egg tart in shortcrust cookie base and costs $11 per each. Their green treats are sweet with a buttery, crumbly exterior. However it does not have the wow factor in taste. The pandan and egg flavour is subtle and more on the sweet side.

The pineapple bun is big in size, crispy and hot when served. It’s a crunch and crumbly delight with a golden yellow crust set over a soft and fluffy bite. Love it!
