To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

有時明知食物一般,但方便就腳,或多或少都要光顧。一家四口,點了鮑片扒西生菜,濃稠又黏的玻璃芡,有點在吃漿糊的感覺,鮑片其實是螺片,不過是囝囝最愛,也沒法子,自己只好夾多點生菜。另外是咖喱撈拉麵餐包括紅咖喱拉麵、灼菜及小菜一碟;紅咖喱要了豬軟骨,差不多一整碟給囝囝消滅,自已只吃了拉麵,咖喱汁不太辣,拉麵鹼水味輕柔,比想像中好得多。小菜是燒汁茄子牛仔骨,牛仔骨醃得過火,肉味不甚了了,反而茄子沾上了燒汁及肉汁,變得惹味得多。連湯飯$200有找,只能當填飽肚算數。
