To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 母親節已經過了一星期,現在才慢慢來補記晚餐。一般人都是預早做節,不過今年由於嫲嫲回鄉,我們等她回港後於上週一,才一家人到荃灣潮江春補吃母親節晚餐。美心中菜就是這樣好,環境舒適、設備 baby-friendly,五大兩小坐得舒服;食物方面,水準就較為一般,可能也與下午茶吃得太飽有關。最喜歡的反而是前菜的青瓜木耳豆腐。出外用餐始終味道較濃,小兄妹首選仍是吃自家製食物,我們都等他們吃到半飽再才上菜。老公的AE白金卡散點有75折,不過散點頂多是雙併,想吃的滷水併盤要套餐才有,結果為它就點了中銀卡的4人套餐 ($738),首先上場就是滷水併盤。這裡的滷水底較鹹,鵝片、豬腩肉、墨魚片、豆腐及蛋的質素就不錯,為食妹妹也吃了不少豆腐中芯部分。 接著是樣靚但肉實不好吃的梅羔骨,我只吃了半件就放棄了。  太極海鮮燕窩羹 份量不少,一鍋足足分了七大碗出來。再度覺得用料不錯,除海鮮燕窩又有大量蔬菜,健康又養顏,不過就是調味太鹹。 第一次吃 半煎煮鯧魚,那魚質特別得來有點怪,說不上喜歡,大家都專攻清甜無渣的蘿蔔了。結果打包回家翌日再吃,反而味道回復正常。  原隻鮑魚扣鵝掌 的濃芡嚇怕了我,只吃了一些生菜就算;但

原隻鮑魚扣鵝掌 的濃芡嚇怕了我,只吃了一些生菜就算;但老人家似乎對這菜式十分受落,轉眼間所有鮑魚鵝掌都清光。兩代人的口味,有時就是不同。

爺嫲是傳統的飯桶,最後加點一個 欖菜肉碎炒飯,賣相唔得,味道卻很好,粒粒分明很香口,超大的一兜也清得八八九九。
