To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 同舊同事聚餐,喺西環,當然首選平靚正既活一鮮,用心經營十五年,主打平靚正既刺身為主,間唔中會有出面較難食到既飛機貨,三個人首先叫左特級刺身拼盤,有吞拿魚,三文魚,油甘魚,左口魚邊,甜蝦,赤海蝦,八爪魚,海膽,帆立貝再order加呢個八爪魚刺身五切,件件都厚切超豪華,食落好鮮,尤其是吞拿&甜蝦,再上鮮壽司,有12款,有挪威三文魚腩,黑松露油甘魚,珍寶甜蝦,紫蘇墨魚,蔥吞拿魚腩,蟹膏,火炙左口魚邊,三文魚子,帆立貝,醬燒三文魚,海膽,玉子小食,又order左蒜蓉牛油醬燒帆立貝盛,未影相同事已經忍唔住食左嚿🤣🤣,熟食有天婦羅盛合,銀鱈魚西京燒,酒煮蜆都唔錯,無沙&鮮甜,油甘魚野菜紙火煱都好讚,油甘魚超大件,而且呢個紙火煱同我喺日本食既懷石料理紙火煱味道相差無幾,而且仲做緊折扣,值得推,拖羅四式&海鮮蒸蛋因為掛住食唔記得影相🤣🤣,飲品叫左枝細既柚子酒,三個人平均消費$528,咁多野食,完成美滿一餐
