To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

日前同朋友講起食燒肉,有人盛讚某酒家嘅燒腩仔幾咁皮脆肉香,幾咁肥肥肉相間,無骨易食,比諸拜神燒肉,優勝百倍云云。聽罷,不勝唏噓,歎現今人既未知靚燒肉嘅標準,亦未聞燒肉界之泰山北斗。感懷之餘,決定去永合隆再嚐燒腩骨嘅滋味。       食燒肉要食燒腩骨,原因好簡單,因為燒腩骨係最能表現燒肉唔同層次嘅美味。外皮燒成芝麻皮,薄而脆;之後半肥瘦肉香滑,油脂香、入口即溶;骨位淡鹹香,骨肉一咬好易分離;最難得係瘦肉部份仍然鬆化,入口無渣,成件燒肉每一部分都處理得好。有人話永合隆,無復當年勇,往昔人龍不再,但我認為,店舖出品無變,而係現今識欣賞嘅人太少,又,只要水準保持,對於真正食家嚟講,永合隆係咪人龍店,WHO CARES?
