每逢大時大節,總會四代同堂吃餐晚餐,每次吃的套餐都是萬變不離其宗,下一道菜吃什麼已大約知道,味道更不可抱有任何驚喜。可是,今次去美孚的京塊薈,完完全全地推翻了我對中式酒家的看法。由於家中長輩生日,特意叫得比較豪氣,有澳洲大龍蝦、花膠雞煲排翅、吉品鮑、大東星班等名貴菜式,以上的款款菜式都製作得十分出色,大龍蝦的味極之濃烈,肉質滲透著一種喝龍蝦湯的味道,是我人生中吃過最好吃的龍蝦;花膠雞煲排翅魚翅大大「梳」,沒想過魚翅可以咁有咬口;吉品鮑有7、8cm長,煮得又軟腍,又入味,十分名貴;至於大東星班蒸的時間剛剛好,肉質十分鮮嫩細滑。吃完這一餐之後,完完全全改變了傳統廣東中菜的印象。
