To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

今晚隨便食食到太古,睇睇「Alfafa 」門外嘅menu ,覺得呢間餐廳好有heart。喺食物原材料和調味料上去會花上一少功夫。好似會標明:環保海鮮(意思係用負責任嘅捕獲方式,而不影響海洋生態、拒食魚翅之類 - 有感是良心食肆)。而且調味料方面會標明:油係用意大利葵花油和橄欖油、鹽係用含豐富礦物質嘅有機喜馬拉雅山鹽,配料會用上無農藥種植嘅有機鮮蘑菇。讓食客覺得好講究,品質有保證!(雖然講真,食入口都未必會食得出😅)不過是次進餐經驗,由等沙律,到主菜,到餐飲,每一樣之間起碼要等至少30分鐘,樓面又唔係多食客,到底為何會這麼慢呢?🧐
