每年一到十月,便會記起這個日子,當年首次跟食友在活動上喝啤酒、跳跳舞的一刻,迄今仍在腦海中經常回味,對,就是「德國啤酒節」。雖然德國食品在香港並非主流菜色,但依然有一班捧場客,而自助餐有德國菜提供更是少之又少,今年Holiday Inn Golden Mile酒店由十月一日起三十一日期間,在Bistro on the Mile餐廳推出「德」意滋味自助餐。餐前先奉上一瓶由德國原裝入口的Fruh Kolsch啤酒,是一種用大小麥及啤酒花發酵的啤酒,比起坊間大路牌子更濃郁,當然要夠冰凍,用作配襯炸得香脆的食物一流。主角當然是一系列的德國食物,原先的熱葷位已全部換上新口味,好幾款德國肉腸任君選擇,當然還有烚牛仔腸配扭結包,但扭結包有別於常見的size,與及沒有沾上鹽巴,吃起來較輕盈。近日話題的咸豬手,是德國菜名物,廚師早已去骨,咬落皮脆肉香,燒得微焦,而肉質咸香,處理得相當好。燒春雞只切了一小片,夠嫩滑,肉味還可以;煎龍脷柳魚配白酒汁切成小件,非常方便,但放涼了便覺得有點油膩;湯是蘑菇湯,入口很creamy,濃郁的蘑菇味,穩紮穩打的菜色;而中式湯反而有兩款,例湯是每天轉款的花生眉豆雞腳湯,很鮮
