這裡的法國菜據說聞名遐邇,年度到跑馬地拜山後,隨便跳上巴士直奔堅尼地,正好試試他。Set lunch 的選擇都不太吸引,惟有點應該比較好吃的egg in hollandaise sauce 和烤豬腩,另一份是別無他選、估計應不太好吃的smoke salmon salad 和橙汁會鴨胸。不出所料,salad 平平無奇,鴨胸不是煎香的,再加甜甜的橙汁sauce,可能正宗,但不是我的茶。Egg in hollandise sauce 就十分好,蛋是flowing,下面墊着咸鱈魚泥,那鱈魚沒有一般死咸,反帶着鱈魚的油香,伴蛋汁和Hollandise sauce 吃,很香很滑。烤豬腩外脆內鬆化,脂肪和肉入口即溶,完全不油膩,滿口芳香,也是佳品。Cream brulee 不過不失,那變奏的tiramisu,更似fresh raspberry smoothies in vanilla ice cream,美中不足是㗎啡要另點,是生財之道,非待客之道。
