To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

在旺角想找一家性價比高的丼飯是十分困難,多是價錢貴但刺身新鮮程度較低。以前的鮮丼家價錢相宜,刺身份量亦不算少。我亦光顧過不下十次。最愛的還是他家的壽喜鍋。不過昨天再次光顧時,發現壽喜鍋已經沒有了,多了燒物選擇。我便膽粗粗地點了五色丼飯、汁燒茄子及蔥雞肉串。燒物完全讓人失望,沒有必要再試一次。先說說汁燒茄子,茄子皮全部去掉,燒物未完全燒好便上碟,完全像蒸茄子一樣,亦無醬料淋在茄子上。而蔥雞肉串更是過份,大蔥根本還沒完全燒好,感覺像吃生蔥一樣。我還是建議取消燒物,還我壽喜鍋吧!另外丼飯的刺身並未像以前一樣覆蓋整個飯,份量看上去比較少,新鮮程度亦大不如前,尤其是拖羅,吃下去苦澀的。如果是食物成本上漲了,我寧願他們加價也不要因價就貨。
