To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 是日去機場送我好友波哥到英國進修,check in後尚有少許時間,波哥提議去不用久等的食肆食晚飯,抬頭一看,見到這間機場翡翠,波哥問我意見,我當然舉腳讚成,因為我想做boss請客, 心諗四個人在這裏進食,應該一千元有找,唔會太破費,我又可節省很多了。因時間有限,進店後隨即下單。花雕醉雞肉質尚算嫩滑,酒味亦濃。小籠包包皮畧嫌厚硬,但包內湯汁則泡制得宜,咬落亦彈牙可口。鍋貼熱度不足,煎制火喉未夠,底部未能達致畧燶效果。擔擔麵絕對是失敗之作,湯碗大而無當,麵量極少,除微量麻辣之感覺外,基本上完全感覺不到擔擔麵應有的食材存在,稱為麻辣齋麵則可,稱為擔擔麵則完全談不上。乾撈拉麵麵質尚可,味道調校祗屬一般。魚羹賣相未夠色澤悦目,魚肉尚算鮮嫩,但潤滑度不足,調味一般。糖醋魚柳賣相尚可,魚質及調味亦中規中矩,如加配青紅椒則會更悦目可口。浸莧菜材料舖排未夠用心,影響賣相。鹹蛋及皮蛋咬口尚可,但稍為過火,致令軟滑度不足。湯圓內的黑芝麻餡料流沙度不足,甜度則算控制得宜,湯圓上的花生糖粉佈排亦算平均。豆漿熱度尚足,但鮮度感覺不濃,甜度則算合意。檸檬薏米水薏米烹調時間不足,稍嫌過硬,配合一片檸檬,提高了可口度。
