To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 有朋友從外國回來,因為多年未有回來所以很想念中菜,在商場走了一圈後便選定北京樓進餐。餐具富色彩,備有公筷和自家筷子。坐定及備好茶水後便送上一份前菜。前菜 — 泡菜      單據上寫的是泡菜,但其實是木耳、青瓜和細件豆腐,味道像韓式泡菜的辣味。小籠包 點了兩籠小籠包,一籠有四隻,用筷子夾起時要萬分小心。小籠包皮薄,肉汁滿滿,熱湯包味道好。鍋貼 - 四隻 溫度剛好入口,肉汁不算太多,底部煎得香口。韭黃鮮蝦腸 腸粉白滑,蝦腸味道適中。酥炸魷魚鬚份量不少,魷魚鬚炸得不錯,粉也不太厚,碟上的紙張也沒有很多油份,調味好!鮮蝦腐皮卷 腐皮卷可以看到一層層脆的腐皮,很熱的,好好味!白灼郊外菜心 菜心大棵,新鮮清淡。豉汁蒸鳳爪 夠熱,味道正常,有花生在底部吸收了肉汁,特別好味。牛肉球 同樣夠熱,味道正常。海皇脆皮腸粉 顏色奪目,內裏脆的食材很脆,口感豐富,味道也好,必食!北京填鴨  一隻  很久都沒有食這道心愛的名菜,很期待!北京填鴨無論是表皮或是肉質都是極好,鴨的油脂更是香,味濃!每塊餅皮都有紙張相隔不會弄破,蒸籠底下有一小型火燭維持溫度,再加上點一隻北京填鴨食肆有七五折優惠,所以食得好開心!因為我
