To encourage eatery outlets to reduce food waste at source together with customers through offering portioned meals and adopting food waste reduction measures, the Environmental Protection Department has launched the “Food Wise Eateries” Scheme. Participants will be awarded with a Food Wise Eateries (FWE) accreditation status if they comply with the assessment criteria and will be granted with the FWE Logo and Stickers for displaying in the premises and their promotion for public identification. Applications are accepted all year round and are FREE of charge.

經過見倒新開茶餐廳，唸住食個下午茶，喺門口見入面得2枱客，已經驚驚地，點知食完真係中晒伏⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯我地左個奶油多，黎到竟然係凍既！個麵包好似隔左夜咁⋯仲要果陣時全店只有兩枱客，但都可以整出黎係凍，真係o晒咀。好啦，再黎埋個炸雞翼薯條，我簡直眼都突埋，未見過咁既炸雞翼，d粉厚到加零一，好少茶餐廳既炸雞翼會用粉炸，好似食緊厚粉天婦羅一樣，可惜我無影相=_=⋯⋯呢間野真無下不違例，唔會再黎⋯⋯⋯⋯⋯
